Ok.... not really, but Jorge Garcia (aka Hurley on LOST) did read my question in his podcast for LOST, episode 606, on Geronimo Jack's Beard. They didn't really have an answer, but that is pretty much what I expected. It is about 16 minutes in.
Here is the link:

Also, check out his videos about their "Rat Incident", they are pretty funny!
Someone in Hollywood, please give Jorge and Beth a deal for a reality show!

It's that time of year again, so get LOST!
LOST is back with a vengeance, and so far only the first episode (or is it first two?) has aired and it was awesome!! Already they have Parallel timelines, more deaths, more resurrections, more new characters, and the Smoke Monster/MIB!
In my links sections on the right, I have a short list of some of the very best-of-the-best sites devoted to LOST. Check them out!
Recaps are a must for any LOST fan. They discuss and enlighten you to many of the more subtle nuances and connections of the episode. Stuff that you may not otherwise notice or understand. They also explore many interesting and mind-bending theories as well.
In my opinion the best LOST recappers on the web are (in no particular order):
Jeff "Doc" Jensen from Entertainment Weekly
Nikki Stafford from Nik At Nite and DocArzt.com
Vozzek69 from Dark UFO and Things I Noticed.com
Enjoy and Namaste!

Anyone seen any 2009 coins?
A friend of mine was telling me that if you see any 2009 coins, you may want to set them aside. Apparently all coins minted in 2009 are kinda rare and here's why:
In general, the majority of people don't use change in their daily lives. Many gather the change from their daily purchases and simply toss it in some sort of container at the end of the day. Well, in the past year or two, due to the extremely sucky economy and high unemployment rate, millions of cash-starved people have finally taken their giant glass jugs full of daily loose change to the bank or Coinstar machines in exchange for more usable (and foldable) currency. This has essentially "flooded the market" with old coins, meaning there simply wasn't a huge need to mint the usual amount of coins for 2009. I've heard the actual quantity of coins minted for 2009 was very, very low compared to most years. And 2009 had some interesting coins too. The State Quarters wrapped up in 2008, so for 2009 the Treasury came out with Quarters commemorating non-state US Territories like Washington DC, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and I think there was one more that I have never heard of. They also released 4 different Pennies to commemorate Abe Lincoln's birthday (or Election to President, or something like that). I am not a collector, but I have known about the situation with 2009 coins since probably early summer of 2009, and so far I have only seen 1 2009 Quarter and 2 2009 pennies. I have not yet encountered any 2009 nickels or dimes.
Happy hunting!

Holy crap on a cracker!
The guy that runs favorite site Hawtness.com has started a new site called Thingsthataredoingit.com. It is full of pictures, mostly of Nature, that (as the URL implies) resemble the naughty bits and/or acts. It is absolutely hilarious! Be warned, the site should probably be considered NSFW, but check it out, you'll be amazed and amused!

New links!
I have recently added Taleofwoe.com, Wiihaveaproblem.com, Historicaerials.com, and thingsinoticed.com (LOST site). Good stuff. Enjoy!
Also, I have read that if you have a laptop with Bluetooth (or a PC with USB Bluetooth adapter), you can download GlovePIE and use a Wiimote (Wii remote) as a wireless mouse. Neato! Has anyone tried this?

Hmmmm...
From time to time I have updated my various lists of favorite links on the right side of the site, but man, I really need to think of something new to post here...

Seasons change, time to re-arrange...
Well, as you may have noticed, I have changed the blog around a little. I am using a new Blogger template (I think it looks pretty spiffy!), and I have added my lengthy link list to the column on the right of the blog. I have also added a few new sites and restaurants to my lists. Please leave a comment if there are any sites you think I should add. :)
